Joel majored in Interior Design at the Colorado Institute of Art in the US and also studied in Italy, France and the UK.
As with all artisans, Joel needs pepetual inspiration. He has been to more than forty different countries and enjoys the experience of submersing himself into each local culture and trying to understand the history and background behind each cultural artifact.
He regards these travels and experiences as precious ingredients for the creative process, enabling him to see new angles to every piece of furniture or living space he work on.
